OCD Coaching - Worldwide
Not on a
Waiting List.
Coaching Starts Now.
In the US, UK, Ireland, and Australia, finding an OCD specialist who does real ERP is genuinely hard. NHS wait times run 12-18 months. Insurance denies OCD specialists. Rural areas have next to nothing.
OCD coaching uses the same ERP model used in specialist clinics, delivered online, directly, without the wait.
This is not therapy. It's skills-based coaching. Justin La Rose, RP, M.Psy, has 25+ years in mental health and over 15,000 clinical hours. He teaches you how OCD works, how ERP works, and how to work through it.
What Coaching Is. What It Isn't.
WHAT IT IS
SKILLS-BASED
You learn how to build and work through an exposure hierarchy. Sessions are structured around ERP skills - the same model used in specialist OCD clinics worldwide.
STRUCTURED
Each session has a purpose: assessment, hierarchy building, exposure planning, or reviewing what's working. Not open-ended conversation.
PRACTICAL
Between sessions, you do exposures. The coaching supports that work - preparing for exposures, debriefing them, adjusting the hierarchy.
EDUCATIONAL
You leave with a thorough understanding of how OCD works, why ERP works, and how to manage OCD long after coaching ends.
WHAT IT ISN'T
- Psychotherapy or any regulated health service
- Diagnosis of OCD or any other condition
- Crisis support or mental health emergency response
- A substitute for medical assessment if you haven't been assessed
- Covered by health insurance (coaching is not a billable clinical service)
How It Works
Same structure as ERP therapy. Different professional category.
01
Free 20-Minute Call
Understand your OCD, answer your questions, and confirm fit. No commitment. Happens over video at a time that works in your timezone.
02
OCD Assessment
A structured interview mapping your specific OCD: triggers, obsessions, compulsions, avoidance. This becomes the foundation for your exposure hierarchy.
03
Exposure Hierarchy
A custom-built hierarchy of exposures ranked by how much anxiety each triggers. Not generic - built around how your OCD actually works.
04
Active ERP Work
Weekly sessions working through the hierarchy. You complete exposures between sessions. Each session debrief, adjust, and plan the next step.
05
Independence
The goal is for you to not need coaching. You understand the model, you can build hierarchies yourself, you know what to do when OCD flares.
Where Clients Come From
Coaching is available to anyone, anywhere. These are the countries with the most demand.
United States
EST / CST / PSTNew York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, Seattle
Insurance rarely covers OCD specialists. IOCDF therapist directories are long but quality is inconsistent. ERP coaching fills the gap.
United Kingdom
GMT / BSTLondon, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Bristol
NICE recommends ERP but NHS IAPT wait times for OCD are typically 12-18 months. Private ERP therapists charge £120-180/session. Coaching starts now.
Ireland
GMT / ISTDublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, Waterford
HSE mental health services are severely under-resourced for OCD. Private OCD specialists are rare outside Dublin. Online coaching is a direct alternative.
Australia
AEST / AEDT / AWSTSydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra
OCD specialists are concentrated in Sydney and Melbourne. Rural and regional Australians have almost no access to ERP. NDIS sometimes funds coaching.

Common Questions
Is this the same as therapy?
No. Coaching is a skills-based, educational service. It uses the ERP model to teach you how to work through OCD, but it is not regulated psychotherapy, does not involve diagnosis, and does not constitute a therapeutic relationship. Justin La Rose provides coaching to international clients as an educator, not as a regulated health professional in your jurisdiction.
Is coaching as effective as therapy?
ERP works because of the model, not the professional title delivering it. The core of ERP - building an exposure hierarchy, completing exposures, resisting compulsions - is what drives results. Coaching applies that model with the same rigour. That said, if you have significant comorbidities, trauma, or are in active crisis, a licensed clinician in your country is the right starting point.
Do I need a diagnosis before starting?
A formal diagnosis isn't required to start coaching. If you have OCD symptoms and haven't been assessed, we can discuss whether coaching is appropriate in your first session. Coaching does not include diagnosis.
What if I'm on a waiting list for NHS therapy?
Coaching can run alongside that wait. Many clients start ERP skills coaching while waiting for local services. When NHS therapy begins, you'll already understand the model, which often accelerates the clinical work.
Can NDIS fund OCD coaching in Australia?
Some NDIS participants have used NDIS funding for OCD coaching under capacity building supports. This depends on your plan and goals. Justin does not make guarantees about NDIS funding - check with your NDIS planner.
What time zones do you work across?
Sessions are available across a wide range of time zones. Early morning Toronto time (EST) maps to evening in the UK and morning in Australia. Availability is discussed at the free consultation.
How much does coaching cost?
Sessions are $400 CAD, approximately $280 USD, £220 GBP, €265 EUR, or $430 AUD. Billing is in Canadian dollars. Sessions are paid per session - no packages required.
